I have had Matiz front shocks on my old Move that was converted to 4x100. The fit with the Dai strut top and from memory were slighlty lower than L7 in the spring seat. but don’t quote me on that as it was years ago I did it.

If I remember right, YRVs use digital odometers (I wanted to replace my instrument panel with one from an YRV, because I found the numbers to be sportier, similar to those used in Porsches), unlike the L7s that still use an odometer cable. That would require using the YRV’s wiring harness, which you would end up using, in any case, and adding an ABS sensor and ABS outter driveshaft ring from a later model L7/9 or from later Cuore, Mira or Copen.
All fuel-injected Daihatsus have fuel return lines
