Is it just me or is your arm grey? I saw the one pic where you painted the hood scoop in primer and i was thinking, did this guy just hold it in his hand and spray it, with overspray just going over his arm.??
Then in the other pics its still grey, maybe the primer never came off your arm or it was all done on the same day ??
I know its a bit off topic but if you see the picture of the hoodscoop in grey primer with your arm also grey it raises this question.
It’s a black out tattoo. Unfortunately the ink faded due to a lot of sun exposure, that’s why it looks kind off light gray. I must do a 2nd session, to make it look way darker, but it’s like 14 hours, so I’ve been avoiding it for the last 5 years, hahaha
Oh i though you were one of those guys who sprays without a mask, welds with sunglasses puts paint thinners directly to skin , syphons petrol/diesel into your mouth then spits it out etc.

What better to test out an unknown leather dye than on one’s own skin
…I found leather and vinyl dye, I’m not sure how it works, but I’ll find out soon!
At some point I’d love to lear how to weld properly. Even though is far from my working area (data management), haha😂. But I think it is a good skill for life.
My plan is to continue this thread for a long time, since I have always wanted to have something like this in a forum, haha. In fact, I’ve been recollecting parts and taking pictures for another update in a few weeks
I find the easiest fom of sheetmetal welding is to use oxygen, acetylene, brass welding rods and flux for areas which will not get seen. As soon as I get flux and more rods, this is what I’ll start with. It’s a Suzuki Wagon R which was also assembled in Mexican production (Chevrolet Wagon R).
Were these Chevrolets delivered to Costa Rica?:
