I finished my motor mechanics apprenticeship in 1974, worked mostly on tractors and machinery. Worked for Ford doing warranty claim processing for 7yrs the worked as a courier for the next 7yrs.
Started a school cleaning business in 1993 which operated till 2018, had 38 employees when we sold up and retired.
At the start I didn’t do much with the cleaning business, so I also drove trucks including semis.
Retired a couple of years ago and spend my time helping a mate with his 2 Lotus 7 race cars, he also owns a highly modified Lotus Elise.
My own daily driver is a 2002 C240 Mercedes .
