Happy Halloween! Today I purchased a 1992 Diahatsu Atrai. Being stateside it’s hard to research these guys. There’s a box labeled cooler volume and neither I nor the seller have any clue what it is. Whatever it is, it’s not plugged in. Is it AC?

It may be an adjustable vent that sends cool air from the cars ventilation system around the compartment for some level of cooling the contents.
Thank you for the response! Have you seen one of these before? That would be an interesting function but that makes sense.
