92 USA Rocky Roof rack

Hello all
I am getting my Rocky back on the road after some fixing. New clutch and what nots.
Im currently building a roof rack for it and was looking for ideas. This is what i have so far. I know someone on here can help with inspiration. I appreciate any input.

Not a lot of activity for the “big rigs” on this forum i see but thats cool. I still love it and will use this to document mine. Maybe start a fad! Haha.
Got my fab part done and it is pretty solid. I would trust it with a light load of lumber or a few kayaks. I can still get the top on and off and the sunroof still opens. Going to buy a universal luggage rack to go on top with a 36" light bar for the front. I like it!20171223_18110720171223_181123_Burst0120171223_18323020171223_18324620171223_184749

Pretty cool! Looks like a mad little car! Glad to see there are more Americans on this forum

Thanks. It is definitely getting there. Also I am with you, wish there were more daihatsu guys in the US. The most common question I get about my ride is “what is it?”

Very cool. How did you mount it to the truck?

Yeah I can imagine you do haha, I’m not personally from the Us its just really nice to see there’s a big spread of people on this forum, especially America where you typically imagine everyone driving some big v8 powered barge

Haha… Funny you say that… 3 other of my vehicles all have V8s. They are fun as hell but in a different way.

I used 2 modified gutter mounts from an old work van for the front. I made 2 brackets for the back out of some thick bar stock, inspired by the jeep roof racks you see all over. I can get some better pics this evening if your interested
