A new white Cuore (L276) owner with race striping

Hi all! I just lost my daily lease so decided to look for a cost effective daily; mainly for my wife and occasionally for myself. So I bought white a Cuore/Mira from 2010 last Friday. It has black striping which I was planning to remove immediately but my manager said she likes it so I guess I need some time to get her on board. I chose this model mainly because of the sliding rear seats which is brilliant for creating space while holding our little dog in the backseat.

Here’s a picture:

I really enjoy driving this little 3-cilinder. I wanted one that had electric windows, mirrors & airco but this one has a bonus feature, an electric open roof! Not sure if it’s from the factory but it looks like it. The car could benefit from some love so I will be spending time here to learn where to get parts from and which parts are interchangeable between models.

I drive a 08 Suzuki Swift myself on which I did quite some work, so im no a stranger to Japanese cars and hunting parts in the land of the rising sun. My hands are itching to be honest!

Welcome to the forum. I dont know much about these as in australia the last daihatsu models we got were the L251 in about 2005. We get some imports now but mainly hijet’s.

Thanks! I must say its shape is my least favourite of the Cuores/Mira’s, but the sliding rear seats are perfect for creating more space when needed. It really was the feature that sold the model to me. Now it’s time to tidy it up. It’s a really nice car, a shame that small cars get so little love (here) it seems.
