Avanzato R power

Morning people, since I’ve had my mira (3years now) I’ve been curious about more power (currently at 82.5bhp. the .5 makes all the difference ), i have read on here somewhere that the JB-JL engine is good for 150bhp on a daily driver and 220bhp on weekend/track cars with stock internals as its apparently forged from factory. I’m not looking to go that mental just yet, but would mods would be required?

these are current modification/upgrades it has had;

Spec as follows:
Greddy water temp gauge
Greddy ECT temp
Pivot boost gauge
Volt meter
Optional Mira matts
Cup holders
HKS turbo timer
Snap on gear knob
Rays TE37 14” wheels
Cross ecu controller (RPM, pressure, fuel) currently running 1 bar of boost.
Electronic card reader
JASMA stainless exhaust system
DC2 SR3 low recaro bucket seat
Aftermarket Strut brace
Ducktail spoiler
Auto Juwell induction kit
Ultra HT leads
Aftermarket alloy Intercooler
KCar sport upgrades
Aftermarket earthing kit
AC, front and rear fog lights, Electric windows
127.000KM (79,000 miles)
2 sets of keys
Manual 5 speed transmission
Brand new battery
Rust free as expected on a good fresh import
Lightly wax oiled using clear and black in all relevant places to help preserve it.
Very straight car, some cosmetic scuffs on bumpers as pictured.
No interior carpet or spare wheel.

(This is how it was imported)

I’ve had a quote for standalone ecu and mapping
I’d expect to be needing -
larger radiator
Bigger turbo
Fuel pump
Injectors
Adjustable BOV

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for these parts and any tips/advice

Im not sure about making more power out of a jbjl is a good idea. The ones we got here were all imported.
Everyone that I have known of (3 in total) and each one had the same fate of ending up with bent conrods.
Not saying your will do that but just in those 3 they had the common denominator.
I had a copen which is a jbdet engine, very similar to the jbjl. One of the differences mentioned from someone who drove my copen was that the copen had a lower rev limiter at 8k rpm as opposed to the 8.5k-9k limiter on the jbjl.
I have often wondered if the rev limit drop was a safe guard for this style engine?
Your upgrade list seems good and aftermarket ecu will be the best improvement in that list.
I would hunt out the other parts and install first then get the ecu done as you don’t want to have to get returned each time.
Fuel pump is easy to get you can get a kemso fuel pump off eBay and they are pretty good. Just look for one for 340Lph I usually look for one from a WRX. I have used these and they are fine.
Honestly a lot of parts I have used is from eBay and ali express but have all been for 3 cyl engines.

Thank you, I’m just going off of what I’ve read like most of us, i do know that you can get a daihatsu challenge rally ecu for the mira which allows it to rev to 11k rpm, so ive got that as an option as well. Also from what I’m aware of the cuore weren’t forged and didn’t come with LSDs but the imported miras are forged with LSDs, also the 2wd box is alot stronger than the 4wd box
