Happy new year to all. I have damage my gear box bell housing on my charade. I have an automatic transmission from an applause. Does anyone know if the bell housing on the automatic transmission will work on the manual gear box?
It’s very unlikely for two main reasons:
1- If the Automatic was supplied by Aisin and the manual box desgined by Daihatsu itself, there’s no chance
2- If both boxes were of Daihatsu manufacture, the automatic’s bellhousing would still be missing the cast bosses necessary for housing a release bearing mechanism.
Why not weld your present bellhousing together, instaed?
