Car Audio needs reset

Hi all ,I’ve got a Daihatsu Charade 2005 model .
The battery needed replacing and the radio was asking for a code once the battery was installed.
Stupidly I put the wrong code in 3 times and now the screen is blank.
I eventually found the code (which I should have looked for in the first place…dumb that I am) but was wondering how I can get the radio working again at least to put the code in?
I’ve heard possibly disconnecting the battery for a while ,or removing the fuze etc but thought someone here might actually know how to do it correctly?
Thanks in advance

Remove the battery, wait 5 min and reinstall. If that doesn’t work maybe there is a reset button on the radio (tiny hole) wich you can press.

thanks all,fixed!
In the end just had to wait an hour for the code input to come back up,thanks for the reply Morphius

No problem  when I bought my first radio it also needed a code but I didn’t get the code from the factory. So i had to do a couple of tries to get it right. Glad it worked out for you

Maybe you could introduce yourself on the introduction page with some pics of your car? Would love to see that
