I’ve installed a brand new set of Dixcel Type-Z brake pads and I have to say those pads are great !!!

They make the braking consistent, powerfull and without any fading.

Definitely the best brake combo I’ve tried so far !

Nice one!

I had these in a sirion with Copen calipers and discs, agree that the Z-types were a great option.

Thanks !

I really love those Dixcel but I’m thinking to try maybe a set of Project Mu HC+…

And I’m eventually searching for a set of K3-VE2 camshafts…

Re the camshafts, there is a technical spec for Rally camshafts in the Wiki section here:

If you have a machine shop then they should be able to fabricate this for you (though not sure on cost for a one-off like this?)

With standard compression I’d expect ~100bhp, with K3-VE2 pistons you will get about 110bhp

Thanks for your answer and links !

I’m sure nobody around here will be able to grind cams + the price will be huge…

I’ll try to find OEM VE2 cams on this forum, if I’m lucky…

About power, my car is 98.6 crank HP after remap, seen on the dyno, so it can be interresting with those camshafts…

With the remapping you got done . What ecu was used for this?

The OEM Copen ECU was used, opened and pluged to a computer, but it was not done by myself

Hmmm I have not heard of the OEM ecu’s being remapped for k3 engines before, although we only got K3’s in sirion’s, terios, YRV’s in Australia. We only got jbdet copens here also.

who was it done by?

Motortech Switzerland have done this remap.
They do it on the dyno in front of me. It was very interresting to see this work

I think the K3’s Copen was only for Europe, unfortunately for you

Yeh they were only for Europe

Sometimes we’re lucky here
