This following video was waving in my face for about a week, before I gave up and clicked on it, when there was no longer anything interesting left to watch. Had I known that this motorcycle was Daihatsu turbodiesel powered, I would have clicked on it in no time:

Over the weekend, I was visitting a flea market where an attendant showed up in a John Deere 6x4 Gator. I asked the owner if it had a 3-cylinder Daihatsu diesel. He said, it was Japanese and 3-cylinder. But he didn’t know the brand. It was connected to one of those D.A.F./Volvo 343 belt-driven CVTs.
It took some digging, trying to find out who delivered these engines. The one shown here looks surprisingly similar to the thread topic’s, probably the same built by a different company?
