Ef-det piston alternative

Hello everybody, I have a l700 mira with the ef-det engine. Just did a teardown and found scoring in the cylinder and it needs oversize pistons. Since the original oversized piston is discontinued, does anyone know of an alternative that could fit or know that fits?

I think that if you can find oversized pistons that the next best option could be EJ-DE pistons, they have a similar shape to the EF-DET piston but suit 72mm bore instead. This will naturally bump the displacement up to 720 cc or thereabouts.

Thanks, I think that is the route Iā€™m going to go. Do you think the extra displacement is gonna effect afr running on stock everything?

I would get an adjustable FPR and a wideband so you can see where it is and adjust fuel if needed. That would be the most basic you could do to keep an eye on things.
