Found old posts by @Mr_Gormsby as I tought people tapping the end of fuel rail
But some of 3cyl rails has pressure valve thingy on it that does not have any outlet or vaccum hose. I’ve found that it can be some sort of harmonic damper.
Short question is: does anyone used this valve-thingy rail to ditch the valve and mount fuel return from here? Its a bit easier to make than tapping the rail body.
Imo last injector can be fuel starve if make like this, but, curious heh.
Ill rather make it flow-throught, just as i think it should be done correctly, it should level the pressure for all all injectors.
Other hand- presure drops are not so big to starve the one part of rail…
Just use an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and have the return line before it goes to the fuel rail. it is by far the easiest solution. As long as you have a return line to the tank you are fine.
Hmm I’ve recieved schematics from SPA for returness system, but mever considered these because micra had return type. Got to rethink this
As I know FMU rises pressure by blocking fuel go back from the rail. So it sounded stupid for me to mount this before rail. I dont ned do pressurize the lines before rail (thinking of simply guy)
But its possible,.i remeber two types of plumbing. Ill post spa photos when I’ll get to pc
