EJ-DE Oil sump removal (M100 Sirion)

Trying to diagnose an oil leak. I’ve tried to remove the sump but it seems I have to remove the subframe to remove the sump?

Is there an easier way to remove the sump without removing the subframe?

Does anyone have the workshop manual so I can put it all back together with correct torque specs?

the engine bolts to the subframe. you can undo and front and rear engine mounts and jack up the engine to get the sump in and out. just don’t undo the gearbox one. The Manuals section will open to you with a little more reading and maybe posts. I don’t think there is a sirion manual but many other cars use the ejde which is in the L700 also.

clean all the leaks with brake cleaner and than see where it leaks

I would consider fully cleaning the engine and then monitoring where the leak/s are coming from…

There is every chance the sump isn’t leaking but it’s collecting here.

M100 Sirion manual coming soon(ish).
But yeah, the L700 is practically the same.

fully clean with degreaser and wait a few weeks.

It could be a crankseal leak
