Hey guys and girls. Long time lurker, first time poster. I’ve just bought my first Daihatsu and I’m already planning lots of mods, but finding performance parts and the money to purchase them isn’t so easy. Haha. Any help with bits for a g200 charade would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome. Is this just going to be a road car? Knowing your plans will help others guide you.
It’s a 1995 1.3L 4 cylinder manual.
My plan is to use it as a cheap daily and add performance mods along the way. I don’t have any specific goal in mind.
Headers and 1.6 Conversion - best upgrades for the 4 cylinder.

My plan is to stick with the 1.3 for now but the 1.6 swap could definitely happen at some point in the future. I’d love to get a set of headers for it but I haven’t had much luck finding any.

Yeah I’ve seen those, but I can’t justify paying $350 for them… Haha. I’m hoping to find some second hand ones or get my hands on the bits to make a set myself. I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye out!
