Fuel consumption after brake job

Hi, all i recelty changed pad+rotors on the l7 cuore of mine. The brakes pads had almost no material left so it was time. I changed them last week and after some light driving i went on a 120km round trip yesterday. I noticed that my fuel consumption was 9km/liter which was quite high. I did go 120kph for almost the entire time so there is that. i read that normal fuel consumption should be between 14 and 20km/l.

Could it be that the brakes are “dragging”. I lifted the car with a jack and when turning the wheel it makes almost 1 whole revolution so it doesnt seems to spin as freely as i exptected. I then took off the wheel and the rotor doesnt spin/move freely when tried by hand.

Anyone have an idea if i just drive too fast or something else causing the fuel consumption issue,.

Brake hoses (collapsed) and glider pens are culprit on L7.

I have fitted L276 brakes on mine (kaizen part for this issue) (need 13inch wheels)

Make sure the slide pins for the calipers are clean (no corrosion) and they are lubricated with high-temp silicone grease. If the slide pins have heavy corrosion, you can clean with emery cloth…but I would just replace them. If you think the brakes are dragging, you could check them with an IR temperature probe (cheap item). Hope you post back whatever you find.
