Hello from Brisbane

Hey guys,

I’m Dan from Brisbane! I was a member of the old forum and lost my account, so I signed up to the new forum today to be a part of the Live to Dai community and to follow any projects or Daihatsu meets/cruises I could attend.

Some background info about my car:

10 years ago when I was 16 I purchased my first car, which is a 1986 Daihatsu Rocky with 171,000km on the clock, from an old guy at Bribie Island that did nothing but take good care of it. Today, it has 245,000km on the clock and is still going strong.

I’ve made little modifications here and there, such as getting the bullbar powder coated, changing the rusting Sunraysia rims to alloys, tinting the windows, putting better spotlights on it, and getting a stereo and CB radio installed. The engine is a completely stock Toyota 3Y-C.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I hated the colour yellow when I was first looking at it, but it has definitely grown on me over the years, hence the other yellow accessories haha.
