Hi everyone - 1996 F2 Charade Owner

Hi Everone,
I am the proud owner of a Diahatsu Charade F2 (1996) Number 002 of 200 In Perth Australia.

It has done almost 600,000kms still going.

I am the seccond owner and would be very interested in knowing the development behing this series of F2 Charades as I belive they were made as part of the requiremnts of making at least 200 for a production class F2 Rally in Australia.

I use to own 3 of these however I had to sell one (no. 98) before i moved from brisbane to Perth - Id love to know where it ended up or if it still exists…

and number 169 - It had been in a bad accident before I got it, so it was tuned into a donor car for the other 2

welcome Mate, No 2 wow thats pretty cool. I know that some of the 1997 ones didnt have numbers with them but the 1996 did. For some reason I thought there was 400 of them. I maybe getting mixed up with another car make though so take that with a grain of salt. I know Myself and another member (@Luke) wrecked one that he got from Toowoomba in QLD that was probably back in around 2017-18 from memory. There wasn’t that much left on it when we got it so It may or may not of been No 169
