I have a 1994 hijet with a very broken cb engine. As these engines are pretty rare here in holland I thouhgt of putting a diffrent engine in.
Is there a other daihatsu engine that fits the stock cb gearbox. Does a engine from a cuore(mira) fit for example
I have an L251 gearbox on a ed10/20 engine and I did fit up a charade gearbox from a cb24/23 to it before using the L251 gearbox. So for 3cyl you should be able to bolt up an e series engine ejde or ejve being the 1L variety. We only got the ejde in Australia so not sure if you got the ejve also.
Yes we’ve got the ej-ve here. think i will find a cuore to take the engine out
