i’m currently planning a manual swap on my EF-EL L200, doesn anyone know if i can use the auto ECU? i’ve sorted trans, clutch cable, shifter assembly, shifter cables and pedal box, would i need anything else? cheers guys !

think your pretty set there yes the auto ecu will work. It just need to think it’s in neutral. The selector on the auto box can be kept wired up and just have it select neutral (check on dash). then just zip tie it out the way. That is the easiest. If you want it cleaner just find which is the neutral wire on the selector and earth it…

Starter on the auto boxes usually sits under the intake manifold. I might have a manual starter laying around here that works if you need one. Might also have a S2 manual ECU, though no idea where in my shed that is.
already sorted a ECU, ill ask around locally about a starter, just to confirm, it is different from auto to manual?
Unsure, if you do happen to find it doesn’t fit I’ll look around for that starter for you.
