Mira L200 Avanzato UK

Hi guys, I’m a new owner of an fwd avanzato in the UK. The car has been in the country and it’s now my project to get back on the road and show worthy!

As I get it done, I’ll hopefully share some pics and it’ll be living in a duo along with a honda beat!

I’ve showed the good side XD the far wing is half primer, roof is faded. A few dents and scratch. Hopefully a. Good polish will help but first I need to get it moving!

There might be some blemishes but the basics are there, and what you have is getting hard to find. I think it is beautiful.

Thank you. I do start off with problems though! I need a shifter cable and I can’t find one for sale anywhere except Malaysia where they want silly money to sell to the UK. Additionally it currently has a ED-20 installed as there was an issue or something with the EF-JL. I have the EF-JL but I need to figure out what’s up before I put it back in. It was making 95hp before it was removed tho!

Here in Australia I have been able to get custom cables from industrial cable manufactures. For example the place I use to go made a lot of cables for trucks and machinery. Sometimes they used my old sample and sometimes from drawings.

Hmm okay thank you. I had a look down one pathway once and came out to cost the same or more as a new one. I’ll have to do some research into it. For now I might attempt using a daihatsu hijet shifter cable. It’s too long but had the right connectors and supposedly you can cut it down and use molten solder to reconnect the fitting.
