So my old PC is getting on in age it’s been solid for the past 7 years but is now showing signs of old age so I built a new rig
- AMD Ryzen 1700x
- Samsung 250gb 960 M2
- Gskill 16gb ddr @2400mhz
- MSI motherboard
- Corsair 540 case
- Nvidia GTX 1060
- 3 x 3TB western digital red hard disks
- LG Blueray burner
Needless to say it is lightning fast and should do the next 7 years

Its almost been 7 whole years, how is it holding up?
It has been replaced since about 3 years ago haha
Ready to build a new one soon or at least replace some wearing components in this one.
I just upgraded from a HP 8100 (originally made 2008 - I got it in 2014)
Now I have a i3-12100f, rtx2070, 16gb ram, 500gb SSD. Bought off an international student for $650, the sum of all the parts is more than the whole thing together.
yeah nice, the RTX card is probably worth $450 alone!
I am rolling with a I7-10700k, 32gb CL4 DDR4 ram, 3070ti and 2x 1TB M2 and 2x 256gb SSD plus 4x 5400rpm Sata 4TB drives (in a raid for long term storage/backups)
