I knew nothing about Daihatsu when I first purchased a 2001 Cuore because my girlfriend loved the way it looked, and we needed a cheap runabout. I absolutely fell in love with the car and dailied it for a couple years before my girlfriend drove it under a ute. She’s all good, but the Cuore was a writeoff.

Fast forward to today and I’ve just rego’d a Sirion 2000 (155k odo) after buying it for $1000 sight unseen and driving it 200km and will probably buy another Daihatsu to daily once something catastrophic happens to my red beast.

Welcome to the forum. Daihatsu’s are a fun car thats for sure Maybe get another one so you have parts etc?

Thanks! I would love to do something like that in the future, but don’t have the space to store the donor car so I’m forced to use scrap yards/amayama at the moment.

I also had same car in in rose gold. The car is really a gem unfortunally its engine has seen the better days
