So do i need a obd1 scanner?

My OBD 2 scanner (A non-genuine Delphi DS150e) happily talks to my 2004 M100 Sirion.

Yes, I think it’s just Australian delivered models speak over odb1 even though its an odb2 port

So buy the obd2 if in OZ . Mines a 2004 gtvi sirion
Sorry only bought my sirion yesterday & have only owned pre 93 model vehicles till now.
Nah don’t bother if it’s Aussie delivered
