S83v Coolant issues

Hello, I have a 90’ turbo efi van (S83V) and I am trying to find a coolant system diagram. The previous own “rebuilt” some things and something just doesn’t look right.

Question: Is the coolant reservoir supposed to be directly connected to the pressure cap under the seat? In the picture I posted, Im holding the hose Im referencing.

Issue: I have been trying to bleed it for weeks, but the coolant tank keeps overflowing and then i loose my coolant. The overflow tank is hooked up directly to the inside pressure cap and not the radiator. That didn’t look right to me but I wasn’t sure because my other vehicles have the reservoir connected to the highest point of the radiator. The thing drips coolant into that tank the entire time until it runs out of coolant. I have bleed it at least 10 times (let it warm up, got all the bubbles out, and let it cool down x 2 each time) yet it eventually spits all the coolant into that reservoir. When I bleed the system, I have great heat, coolant is flowing, bottom rad hose is hot, and no bubbles out of bleed screw.

Hey mate welcome, could you please make your way to the “all new people section” and make a new thread and do a small intro also. Does not have to be a big thing. It will just help member’s know who you are and it will open the forum up to you more as you progress.

As for you coolant issue and this is just a guess. The fact that it continues to push out coolant make me think that there may be a minor leak in the head gasket and exhaust pressure is pushing coolant out.
As I said It is just a guess. Has the vehicle had chemiweld or any other head gasket in a bottle fix done before?
or maybe a blockage somewhere?
