Hey guys,
So I think I know the answer to this. but here goes,
My exhaust rusted off my l700 gino. I found someone breaking a sirion so managed to get a complete exhaust for £30 , whilst removing my exhaust i found I also have a lambda after the cat. The sirion exhaust does not have anywhere for this to plug in… and now I have the Engine management light on… Basically I’m wondering can I do without this second lambda, and somehow get that light off? Or do i have to somehow get the lambda tapped into the exhaust?
Thank you and sorry for the nooby questions.
You can get a hole drilled and a bung welded on for the sensor to go in. It may only be an exhaust temp sensor like in the L200’s. If you find a bung is too big or the wrong thread the I suppose finding a nut that will thread on to the sensor and welding that to the exhaust instead of a bung should work also.
