Hey Fellas, just wondering if anyone has any tips for doing a tachometer install on my manual swapped l701 Coure. Aswell as fuse taps and what fuse to tap into ect.

Have a look at my EJDE swap write up and you’ll find the pins on the ECU plug that has the tachometer output. Easy swap if you do it. Also, you can use Daihatsu terios K3VE clusters as a direct fit and the tach will work, albeit show a much lower idle than you think. Generally 200rpm off what it should show.

I spent hours trying to get my tacho to work off the coils until I found this thread. Pin 29 works perfectly. Thank you for the write up ceiliee.
If you have a k3ve it could be just as easy to buy an used instrument cluster from a 4cyl
