So, I did a little something😅
I tried to fill the gap to fit my license plate.
Because Japanese plates are a bit wider then the smallest Belgian plates…

First I cut out the general shape that I needed.

Then I fitted the plastic shape in the hole.

And after it fitted perfectly I started to weld it together.

After it was welded together I started sanding it.

And this is the final result !

It’s not like it’s supposed to be but it will hold I hope haha.

Have you ever attempted to spray paint plastic? If so, how do you get the paint to adhere permanently?
A Japanese plate is dimensioned similar to an American plate. I used to see my share of American cars registered in Belgium, decades ago. These all had Belgian plates in American dimensions. Are there laws excluding American-dimensioned plates for cars which aren’t American now?
My next front plate for my MOVE will be American-dimensioned, simply because the radiator and exhaust will no longer be obstructed from air flow. As it is, I’ve temporarilly moved my plate from the center to the right of the vehicle. I’ve reached my technical objective. But prefer the appearance of the Japanese/American-dimensioned front plate over that of European (with the exception of Switzerland) ones

You can buy the right primers for plastic and also keying it up ( roughing up the surface with sand paper) and making sure it’s clean you should get good results
