White L276 from the Netherlands

Hi all, I bought a white 1.0, 5-door L276 Cuore/Mira last month for my lady. My plan is to tidy it up for her and I will try to share my efforts on here. I’m also very unfamiliar with this car still, so I hope to find a lot of useful info on here. Lets start off with a picture of the beast:

My plan was to immediately remove the striping, but my manager said she liked it. So this project requires some more lobbying first.

specs?

It’s a 1.0 gasoline 5d manual with aircon, electric front windows & mirrors, sunroof, foldable & slideable rear seats. Are there (euro) versions with electric rear windows?

I saw the Sirion has rear electric windows, can’t cutoff a piece from there?

mechanism and wiring?

Silly me, you obviously need the electric mechanism as well. Missed that in your reply. Guess you (& I )need to keep an eye out on onderdelenlijn.nl

I am thinking about replacing my Cuore’s radio as well, can you tell me which model radio you have installed? And did it fit snug by itself or did you have to make a bracket? I think wiring would be simple, as i’ve read it is just 2DIN, more worried about making it fit as nice as yours.

Hi and welcome to the forums! The radio is the JVC KW-M595DBT. The frame surround is a OEM piece and expensive, got it here. It’s not as snug fitting as I hoped, but I’ve definetly seen worse on the l276.

I’ve had a squeaking noise coming from the left front brake since I bought the car for my wife. I hoped it was the wear-indicator. Turned out it wasn’t. No idea what it was, but replaced discs and brakes just to be sure brakes would be OK. Went with perforated Brakemax discs for that spicy perforated look, combined with Brembo pads. The squeezing noise is now eliminated and the operation improved braking quite noticeable. I was a little bit worried about how rusty things were back there, guess I have to do something about that some other time.
