Daihatsu Sirion K3VE2 Engine

The 2SZ-FE is the same as the K3-VE, so you can use that info to look for builds/parts. A K3VE2 is basically a K3VE/2SZ-FE with higher compression (aka different rods and/or pistons) and different cams. I’m not sure if there are any more differences though. Hopefully this helps!

Mind if i ask, whats the ideal AFR and ideal coolant temp when warmed up for the K3VE2 engine ?
Recently finished rebuilding mine and still tuning up and most of it is stock

Hello Mate, we run the K3VE2 with a AFR 12.79 thats Lambda 0,87 on 102 Octan. In the race we drive coolant temperature from ca 90 degree.
Oil is a little bit more. There we got ca 140 to 150 degree with a good oil from Motul. Its the 300V 15W50. Which is able to go up to 170 degree for a short time.

Thanks for the reply mate . finally finished running in the engine approx 3000 km as of today.
So far the oil temp peaked at 95c with Amsoil 10W30.
The AFR the best i get is roughly 15.69 running with std 95
But i’m having trouble with the throttle body adjustment , during idle when starting to drive
