Im getting excited.

Here is the radiator by itself. Was it easy? No but it’ll be worth it.
Just have to find the drain plug, I thought it was in the box but it wasn’t when I picked it up from the fab shop. I got them to do the important part of moving the inlet and outlet but then I manned up and did the top mount myself.

nice work man. hope you find that plug.

I didn’t find it, and neither did the fab shop. I replaced it with a 1/4" bsp male fitting.

The electrician has started on the bird nest of wiring.

Ironically the electricians car had an electrical problem so he didn’t make it out to doing more on my car but I bought some LED headlight globes for my semi sealed headlights. Cutting power consumption to less than half the wattage.

Watt?

I’m not sure if the old headlight globes were 55/60 or 55/100 but the LED are 18/18

Electronics = Done.
Super neat and wonderfully executed. Tomorrow I get to fit some parts for the final time and hopefully pun some internal combustion back into this engine.

Two wheels done in Cermakrome and Carrera Black ceramic coatingfor the front wheel to be fitted with new tyres.
The red one is a display wheel, despite that I might like it more than the black.
Just need to strip the old tyres off the other two at home and repeat the process.

cant get pink?

It could be made but I chose something different, just in case the car changes colour

I really hope it doesnt change. I also agree that the red does look good on the display wheel.

A shakedown in the work carpark tonight went well. For a small car a 60 metre gated yard is a perfect racetrack to work out the kinks.
The radiator fan isn’t fanning like the electric water pump controller thinks it is. So that will get sorted out on Monday by the electrician.

Registration and plates!

A couple of laps of the industrial area were had today. I’ll be doing more and more before embarking on daily duties.
