Dale's L60 Handivan

Yep. Mine did this regularly. Have you got another float needle? It may just be sticky.

I changed out the float needle for an original Daihatsu AB carby needle. No problem since.

I did pick up a few carburetors from market place. I wouldn’t mind building a couple for member with smaller engines or anyone that wants a twin throat for their ed10.

I’m spreading myself thin at the moment, I’ve been working on the EFI manifold for the two cylinder.

This is version 2 that failed to complete over night due to filament tangle.

Upgraded the L60 rear view mirror to L250, I also ran the wire for the light again (for some unknown reason I took it out 6 years ago).

I was going to 3d print a wedge, and then the idea of machining it from a chunk of aluminium came to mind. I didn’t have any spare aluminium chunks to machine down. In the end I made an adaptor using 4 mm aluminium sheet. I had to hog some pockets in the light but if I had M5 countersunk screws that would have been a better option. I might make another and use the correct hardware but at the same time I think this is a solid win.

Friend went to Japan and got me a keychain of my own steering wheel.

I was going to let the rego run out but I think I might add another 3 months.

I have some things to do that requires the car to be at work but I also don’t want the car to live there again.

The Handivan has become a full time daily, Colan needs new tyres and registration, one tyre has a egg that consumes 25 percent of the tread.

Is Colan walk in rego like the handivan? ( I really dont understand SA rego)

They are both seasonal registration, can be registered all the time but no late fees when it’s unregistered.
