Does a ED 5speed gearbox fit on a EJDE?

yes it is how 99% of the L200 ejde conversions are done. use the ed flywheel and clutch. efel also fits.

So you have an ejde gearbox and you want to put an ed20 gearbox on instead? As I stated the ed gearbox’x and the efel gear box’s will fit an ejde engine. You have to use the flywheel and clutch from the ed/efel gearbox. for them to work and possibly the starter. The difference also is Ejde style gearbox uses linkage for gear selection and ed/efel use cable. Also clutch lever on gearbox is in a different place.

I have read this topic. I guess the M100 sirion box is shorter and a straight fit?
how about the Move gearbox?

ed20 is a move gearbox in australia anyway

ok because in EU the move also came with EJDE

yeh we only got the ed20 in moves here. I helped @b_hoves put an ejde in his old move years ago.

I think, he was referring to second generation MOVEs using EJs. Unless, he means Perodua MOVEs which are the continuation of Japanese 1st generation MOVEs
