I would love to jam a late model quad cam engine in here, but the Eco is what I had and it does the job 
There not an over heavy engine at about 140kg tho and looking into the jag engine at (168kg dry) it’s a little lighter and being related to a duratec that alone would sway me away from them with my experience with that class of engine.
I do believe yo can go overboard so easily, where I’m trying to balance a lot of things.
I think I had plenty of power with the five speed, just not enough time to worry about shifting gears and pushing a clutch in so thats why I’m going to a manulised auto. I can fit paddle shifters if I wanted as I only need an up and down button to change between 1 to 4. Reverse ,neutral and park are a seperate mechanical operation.
