My homemade steering boss, waiting on a part to arrive to fully test it out.
Exhaust fabrication, using what I’ve got laying around. The reducer is an old kitchen work/counter top tapered leg. No idea if this will be louder or quieter than the side exit as size is a whole inch bigger. The blue pipe is just size comparison and not fixed.
Final part for steering wheel installation delivered (apart from a different horn push in the future)
Outside again. 3 things to do for mot(roadworthy certificate) finish exhaust to rear, replace driveshaft gaiter and new wiper blades all round, plus a wash but that doesn’t count.
Exhaust done, except a new rear exhaust trim. Forgot to take pics
so here’s a curse word video, a bit windy. It’s hitting somewhere near front so will need a bit of adjustment.
well done man! great work.
Lasted about 6 weeks on the road, then ecu issues and life,(still life) bought a perodua myvi (daihatsu sirion) for a stop gap.
Eventually got the kenari back on the road last week, (mainly as a distraction to things going on in life)
Wow! I wonder how Subaru likes getting side-stepped, when their Justy customers visit Perodua dealers for thriftyer replacement parts and maybe even less expensive service.
Are the Perodua’s interiors radically different to those of their Daihatsu and Subaru cousins?
Yes, instrument cluster, door cards etc all different.
